Color it Challenge

My entry for HIMCR color it challenge: using and coloring tool, markers, copics, pencils, chalk etc.
I chose markers. I printed the picture from a coloring page site. Although it wasn't part of the challenge but I used all scraps. I hardly ever use green so that was my choice of color.

PINK BLING KINDLE COVER CASE

I had my kindle for about a month and a half and searched and searched for a cover I liked. I went to stores and searched on line. I found nothing. And so I was crafting(1 of my favorite things) and a thought came to me that should have come to me a while ago. Y don't I make my own cover. So I started looking thru my supplies and came up with this great cover. I love it..I made it look how I wanted to look and frankly it turned out better than I thought. I have gotten lots of complements. Some people I tell I designed it myself and sometimes I just bask in the moment of the compliment.
I knew I wanted to spend next to nothing on the cover since I was going to do it myself. I found the case on overstock for $5 and I already had everything else. The first pic is the front of the kindle cover and the second pic is the back of the kindle holder insert that holds the kindle. I glazed them both in resin. It gave it a nice shine. And of course I added some bling.

smile/get well

I love this card. I decided to give it to my mom.  She has been going to therapy to get some much needed exercise for her knees.

The brown colored swirl petals are some scrap paper that i made using the shaving cream method and ink. That and the yellow petals were cut on my cricut and put brown rinestones in the middle. I hand drew the stems and cut them out w/ scissors..i cannot draw but they came out good:). The white cardstock was trimmed w/ scallop scissors. On the inside i took another scrap and used martha stewart punch and i use brown marker on the non punch sides and destressed it with water. Hope she likes it.

hey big daddy

I thought this was a cute card..I sent it to a friend..i hope he gets a chuckle out of it. The edging is stamped in gold floral...the backgrownd behind the lady is from cricuts elegant edges..big daddy sign was cut using sculpture scissors..and i used pencil and markers to color the lady.

boy baby shower

This card i think is soooo cute...it got a few raves at the baby shower...it accompanied a blue blanket that i crotcheted(i hate i forgot to take a pic). I was glad that so many ppl were impressed with my work. Maybe i can get the new mother to take a pic of the blanket and send it to me so i can post it.

St Patty/super scrap sat challenge

All the pieces were cut from scraps sent thru my cricut except for the lil shamrock sticker @ the bottom. I used paper glaze and bubbled it up on the beer to make it look like beer foam.
