Owl Coasters

House sitting for my sis this weekend or dog sitting, Which ever. But anyway. I made these coasters for her as a christmas gift. She loves owls. As do I. She only displays them but I thought she would use them. she said no way, display only. But i realized I never took a picture of them. I am looking now and thinking I did a pretty good darn job.
All are glued to tiles I purchased at home depot. Painted each one in different color acrylic paint. 3 are printouts and glazed over with several layers of modge padge. the Last one is a color sheet print out that I had my 5 yr old daughter color, she had just learned to write her name so I had her sign it.

Oriental

One of my most favorite die cuts. The kimono. I received for Christmas 2014.
The writing and bridge are from padoga cricut cartridge. The pretty girl is a clear stamp i have had for awhile. Shoot I cannot remember where i got her.

1st Time Using Deco Foil

This is my first time playing with deco foil. I have to say it was only an ok result.
The result was very skippy,  even though I was pretty sure I applied good coverage of the glue. And it didn't seem to adhere smoothly. I did't use deco foil glue. Didnt have that. I used Aleene's tack-it over and over. I let it dry. Then adhered the foil. That probably would make a difference.

And a mistake i noticed it i did the butterfly in one direction and the word wound up in another direction. Surely not the plan. But i will give it another try.

Green Friend

I had a whole different plan for this image. But didn't turn out as I planned. But I still like it.
I wasn't sure of the color blend. But my daughter(5) loves the color and hates the boots. I am just the opposite. I love the boots. This is from the i think it's called Cat stamp collection that i caught on a recent deal on hsn. Awesome deal.
